Garfield Shakespeare Company will be hosting, "The Art of Intimacy & Combat," a stage combat and intimacy workshop taught by Autumn Stannard and Chris Burton!

Theatrical intimacy is defined as any scene where two or more actors physically touch each other or one or more actors are under-dressed onstage. 

Attendees will learn the basics of establishing consent and boundaries when blocking, rehearsing and performing scenes involving combat and intimacy, followed by working through and performing a scene. Scene performances will be discussed with the attendees to ensure the content is aligned with each actor’s boundaries.

The workshop will take place at St. John's United Church of Christ, Saturday April 25th, from 12:00pm to 3:00pm.
