CAST
in order of appearance
* indicates actor’s first appearance with the company
SYDNEY ENGELSTEIN (SHE/HIM) - NEMAIN (WITCH)
Sydney is so proud to get to be part of team witch for this production of Macbeth. She was recently part of GSC’s production of Dracula, and is excited to be part of many future performances with the company. By the pricking of my thumbs, many more wicked things will soon come…
SHAWNTAE BUCHANAN, THE DARK MATRON* (SHE/HER) - BADB (WITCH)
A creature born of midnight’s velvet embrace, her very presence a conjuration of dread and desire. Now, upon the cursed stage of Macbeth, she embodies the witch not as a mask, but as a reflection of her own sanguine nature — prophetic, dangerous, and alluring.
It is an honor to bring death to life with the Garfield Shakespeare Company, and more to come.
